To better reflect their strategy and market, Recovery Lab underwent a complete brand refresh. The new brand is all-encompassing for a broader market, not just for athletes, and can be applied across multiple franchises nationwide. The brand’s tagline, “relax, recover, rejuvenate and repair,” sums up what Recovery Lab is all about – helping people recover from physical and mental stressors, tired muscles, and general wellbeing. To bring life into the studio space, bold and dynamic landscapes and textures were used. The new brand has resonated well with its clients, as it creates an escape from reality and gives them enlightened experiences. Recovery Lab’s new brand has helped them to stand out in a crowded wellness market and has allowed them to attract a wider range of clients. The primary logo of Recovery Lab represents the core values of their business. The connectivity between the ‘C’ and ‘O’ symbolizes a helping hand for their community. Recovery Lab is a place where you can come to recover, find your best self again, and recuperate and rejuvenate. The negative space between the wordmark symbolizes breath, with each breath symbolizing letting go of the old and breathing in the new. The colour palette of Recovery Lab is grounded with earthy tones to encourage clients to unwind and take a breath in and out. The energizing pop of yellow symbolizes the after-feeling of the recovery process. The palette has been developed to help clients of the brand connect with their surroundings and become more present in their everyday lives. Overall, the new brand of Recovery Lab is designed to be inclusive, relatable, and position them as a leader in the wellness space. With their focus on education, growth, and development, they continue to help their clients perform at their peak, feel better, and cope better in their athletic pursuits, careers, and personal lives.
